| ½ c | Onion, sliced, caramelized |
| 8 tsp | Cilantro, chopped |
| 8 ea | Lime wedges |

| 4 lb | Boneless beef short ribs, trimmed |
| 1 qt | Custom Culinary® Latin-Style Citrus Chili Sauce |
| 1 qt | Water or beef stock |
Preparation
LATIN CITRUS-BRAISED SHORT RIBS
- Add vegetable oil to heavy-bottomed pot; heat until oil begins to smoke.
- Sear short ribs until dark golden brown on all sides.
- Remove short ribs; add Latin-Style Citrus Chili Sauce and water or stock to deglaze.
- When bottom of the pot is clean, add short ribs back into pot and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat to low; cover pot tightly with lid or aluminum foil.
- Cook 2 to 3 hours or until short ribs are tender.
- Once tender, cool in cooking liquid.
- Place ¼ cup avocado onto each tostada.
- Cover each with 3 ounces shredded Latin Citrus Braised Short Ribs.
- Drizzle 1 tablespoon Latin-Style Citrus Chili Sauce over each tostada.
- Place two tostadas on serving plate; top each with 2 tablespoons caramelized onion, 1 teaspoon cilantro and one lime wedge.
